It was founded in February 2005. It is a valuable instrument in the full and integral formation of children with limited resources, which are the motive, the axis in which our ideas and purposes revolve to favor them with an artistic option in which they provide them with the necessary tools and basic techniques for their growth as professional musicians.

This Cultural Center is the first and only Theater in the entire Department of Chinandega; It was inaugurated in February 2006 with the aim of promoting culture in this department by rescuing arts such as dance, theater, music and cinema. Fundación Chinandega 2001 promotes the teaching of music and singing to children at the Jairo Vega Salazar Conservatory of Music, these small artists make their presentations on the stage of the Rodrigo Callejas Theater and are gradually making the population of this city believe the habit of visiting the Theater and enjoying national and international culture.
