About Us
All the children, same opportunities
The 2001 Chinandega Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, founded in 1995, with the objective of combating poverty and risk situations in vulnerable sectors of the population, especially children and adolescents, through social projects that contribute to improve their quality of life in an integral way. The Foundation focuses its work in the areas of education, health and culture, promoting various initiatives within each one of them.
Vision:
To be recognized as an organization that promotes the human development of people based on a system of integral education and ethical values.
Mission:
Work for the development of people in conditions of vulnerability through access to comprehensive education, health and culture services, with quality and relevance.

What We Do
Health 
Fundacion Chinandega 2001’s mission, through the San Martín de Porres Hospital Project, is to contribute to providing answers to the health problems of the dispossessed population of the Department of Chinandega and its Municipalities.
Our approach is an inclusive education, adapted to the needs and opportunities of Chinandega’s society, offering technical careers that open doors and opportunities to the students.

Fundación Chinandega 2001 … was born due to the social needs demanded by the community of Chinandega in 1995. For that date, the Jesús Divino Obrero Foundation, through Father Marcos Dessi, began an initiative to found a structure to help alleviate and overcome many social gaps that existed and exist in the Chinandegana community.
